iPhone 12 can charge the new MagSafe Battery Pack via Reverse Wireless Charging

MagSafe Battery Pack

Apple’s MagSafe battery pack has seen the newest and updated accessory for Apple products. A few days back, it was announced to introduce the latest charger pack on the market. The critics are talking about this newest charger for a while and what makes it different from previous battery chargers.

We will discuss what this new battery pack is offering and how it is better than earlier chargers that Apple sold. The name MagSafe indeed seems like this battery charger will be providing better results.

The MagSafe Battery pack is not the first charger we saw for Apple that used the magnetic connection to use for iPhone 12 series. This charger came with the price tag of $99, which is a little more than previous ones, but this is also the only one that can charge up to 15W even when its plugged in, and this is not it; you just need to plug your iPhone 12, and it will charge your phone’s external battery as well.

As the charger as well as your iPhone 12 both needs to be charged, so what? This battery allows users to charge both at the same time; you just need to put the charger into the power adapter and your iPhone with the charger; what a win-win situation for an iPhone consumer.

It is also noted worthy but not confirmed that the iPhone you are charging will firstly be charged up to 80%, and then the latest MagSafe battery pack will start charging itself when both are set to charging at the same time!

The supporting documents also revealed a few other features about this battery pack that is worth stating; for example, some rumors declared that this battery supports wireless reverse charging feature, which allows users to use their iPhone 12 to charge other devices (such as Apple Watches, AirPods, and other Apple’s accessories that support wireless charging).

It is said that after a specific software update on your iPhone 12, the consumers will be able to use these reverse charging features. If you got to transfer the files from your phone to Macbook, etc., or you might be playing something, your phone will be charged at the same pace of 15W.

If we talk about the battery specs and their comparison with the last used Apple chargers like Anker and Mophie. The MagSafe Battery pack comes with a seamless and straightforward white design smaller in size than Mophie. MagSafe comes in silicon with a lighting feature with no USB-C port as compared to previous chargers.

The capacity specifications for the MagSafe Battery pack are 1460mAH,7.62V and. 11.13Wh. The older chargers had specs like 5000mAH,3.7V, and 18.5Wh, making MagSafe better than previously sold chargers.

Here the thing which is noteworthy is when MagSafe is used wireless, it provides the same output of 5W as Anker and Mophie. Still, the difference comes when we plug it in the production for Anker, and Mophie remains 5W, but Magsafe battery pack output increases up to 15W, making it better for use. The price difference should also be mentioned, as the price of Anker and mophie is almost identical, i.e., $45.99 for Anker and $49.99 for mophie.

What more can a consumer ask for? Well, we must consider the fact that Apple has not given us all the information regarding this mind-blowing latest charger. They are undoubtedly charging us $99 for an obvious reason user must be grateful for all the new unique features, which will definitely enhance the great experience. Still, as the full specs are yet to be known, we can expect more, so let us wait until everything is revealed fully!
